"Fly Fishing Crane Prairie Reservoir" with Phil Fischer Thursday, October 21st 7:00pm - 8:30 on ZOOM
The Sunriver Anglers will welcome one of its own at its October monthly meeting, our first of the fall. Phil Fischer will provide his expert advice on fishing the challenging Crane Prairie Reservoir. Phil plans to offer an overview of key locations, demonstrate effective techniques and share appropriate fly patterns for each season on the Reservoir. Phil’s expertise is acknowledged within the club as he regularly publishes fly tying instruction on patterns he has used to catch more than his fair share of trout from “the fabulous still waters of Central Oregon”. Most notably, Phil will present his Callibaetis Life Cycle fly patterns which are very well known within the fly-fishing community. Phil plans to augment his presentation within his own photography gathered over many years of fishing throughout the Western United States.
