Davis Lake Outing
Lava Flow Campground
Monday, May 6, 2019
Meet @ 8:30 am

Please RSVP to Rynie at: rynieSRA@gmail.com or 925-864-7844,  so she will know how much food to bring.  Cost is $5 each to offset the cost of lunch.

We will be fishing for bass and trout.  You can use a 5 wt for trout, but use something sturdier (7 or 8 wt?) for the bass, they do get big here.  ODF&W will begin shocking the bass next week, so here's your chance to catch some big ones!

The road to Davis Lake is clear of snow from Sunriver by way of S Century.  Water level at the boat launch is still pretty shallow.  You may need a higher clearance vehicle if you're launching a bigger boat.  Drift boats, prams, float tubes should be ok.  Bring your waders, you might have to get into the water to launch and load your boat.

And you can join Mike and Rynie who will be camping Sunday night to get an early start Monday morning. There are pit toilets and developed campsites, but no water or trash pick up.  Davis Lake is about 40 miles from Sunriver.
